SALTA "A LINDA"
A minha cidade a chamam "A LINDA" mas 頮ecessᲩo agregar o de afortunada, 頴erra de poesias e tradi紥s,
de um povo nobre, hospitaleiro, de profunda devo磯 religiosa, terra onde a natureza dispensou paisagens e
grandes riquezas.
Tudo isso 頓alta: Altiplanuras andinas, selvas tropicais, vales temperados, quebradas a cores e torrentosos rios.
Seu rel궯 muda desde as altas cimas com mais de 6000metros at頡s f鲴eis plan�es orientais.
Sua amplitude territorial lhe confiere uma variedade de ch㯳 e climas e por consiguiente uma multiplede flora e
fauna. Observamos as montanhas vermelhas de Cafayate e o verde encanto da selva no Parque Nacional Baritu,
com samambaias arvorescentes.
Salta encontra-se ao norte da Repca Argentina e limita com Chile, Bolivia e Paraguai, al魠de seis provincias
argentinas, sua superficie 頤e 155.488 km2, t㯠extensa como Holanda, Sui硬 Dinamarca e Belgica juntas.
Fundada poer Hernando de Lerma, o 16 de abril de 1582. Salta, derivado do Aimara (lingua india)"salta" que
significa penhas e "TA" lugar ou e "SAGTA" que significa muito bonita. Os primitivos habitantes foram os diaguitas,
incorporados ao Collasuyo, uma das regi��do imperio indiano. Misturaram-secom os espanhois amaram-se e
odiavam-se como em maridagem...formando um povo de gas, "homens de campo de grande nobreza e valor".
Neste povo a "tradi磯" e o "progresso" harmonizam cordialmente, a cidade tem seu estilo colonial espanhol, na
raiz da cultura de Salta reposou a influen硠da cultura hisp⮩ca, os elementos culturais indigenas e dos imigrantes
radicados. Desta rica diversidadeetnica, Salta edifica livremente sua personalidade, em nosso folflore, poesias,
esculturas, ritos, pinturas, mas, dan硳, lendas, onde cobra expressividade o sentimento do saltenho.

SALTA Salta, my
hometown, is also called ?The Beauty?, but I also must say, she is a lucky one.
She is a land of noble people, polite and religious; traditios and poetry. Its
nature is full of beautifull landcape scenery and great mineral richness. Salta
is all this things together: the Andes with its high mountains, some of them
full of eternal snow; the tropical forest; warm valleys; collorfull cannions
and fast flowing rivers. Its surface vary from the high Andes, over 6.000 meter
above the sea level, to the lowest oriental plains. The variety or lans and
weather alowes the different kind os trees and plants that grows everywhere,
from a Cactus at the Andes to the ?Yungas? at the east. We also have an inmense
variety of animals, domestics and wild, and all kind of birds. Salta is located
in the Northwest corner of Argentina, and limited with tree countries: Chile,
Bolivia and Paraguay. It is the only province or state of the country that limited
with six other provinces. Its extension is 155.488 km2. This extension is similar
to the hole Netherlands Salta was founded on April 16th, 1582 by Hernando de
Lerma. Its name comes from the indian Aymara language and it means ?Beautiful
Rock?. The former inhabitants os this lands were de Diaguitas. Later they belong
to the Collasuyo, one of the regions of the Inca Empire. When the Spanish came
to this area they mingle with the natives. The result of this are the Gauchos.
They are brave men, and in the Independence War they fought against the Spanish
for their freedom and for their rights. They were men of traditions. This traditions
are in the music, the dances, the legends and some rites. This artistics expresions
shows the historicals roots of this region and how they are present in our day
life now. The architecture of Salta mantains a Colonial style, but you can find
the native and European influence. Salta is a place of dreams and mystery. Once
you have left this place, you hace already started the way to be back.
